This software is provided solely as an administrative and bookkeeping tool for record-keeping and data organization. The software does not provide certified financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice. GAAP compliance features and validation routines are informational aids and do not guarantee statutory, regulatory, or tax compliance. Users are solely responsible for verifying all calculations, entries, and financial statements with a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or qualified financial professional.

02 As-Is Warranty & Limitation of Liability

The software is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. In no event shall the developer be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, procurement of substitute goods or services; loss of use, data, revenue, or profits; or business interruption), however caused and on any theory of liability.

03 HIPAA, PHI & Regulatory Compliance

This software operates primarily as a local-first application and is not configured by default as a certified HIPAA-compliant repository or electronic health record (EHR) system. The developer does not sign Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) for standard consumer or standalone versions of this application. If you choose to store or process Protected Health Information (PHI), medical billing codes, or patient data, you do so entirely at your own risk and remain solely responsible for maintaining compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), HITECH, and applicable state or federal privacy regulations.

04 Your Responsibility for Backups and Key Management

You are solely responsible for maintaining independent, verified backups of all ledger files, encryption keys, and related metadata. The developer possesses no access to your locally encrypted records or recovery keys and cannot restore data lost due to file corruption, device loss, or forgotten credentials.
